One Coat Clear Builder is a zero-heat, single-layer overlay gel designed to add strength and structure without bulk. It’s formulated to be applied in one controlled coat only and does not self-bond between layers, making it ideal for techs who want a lightweight, strong overlay with a heat free cure.

This gel leaves an inhibition layer that must be removed before additional layers, gel color or top coat. When used as directed, it creates a smooth, durable overlay that supports the natural nail without excess thickness or heat spikes.

How to Use CNS Builder Gel

1. Prep the nail: Lightly buff the natural nail surface.
2. Prime & Base: Apply 1 thin coat of CNS Acid Free Primer, then 1 thin coat of CNS Base Gel, then cure 60 seconds in the CNS Lamp.
3. Apply slip layer: Apply a thin, even coat of Builder Gel as your slip layer.
4. Build structure: Apply “Cool” Clear Builder Gel and cure 60 seconds. You must wipe the residue layer between each layer. This is a different formula and it cannot be applied to itself unless that is removed.
5. Refine: File, shape, and smooth as needed. 
6. Polish: Apply your gel color, if using gel polish, you must remove the tacky layer before applying gel polish if you do not finish file.
7. Finish: Seal with your favorite CNS Top Gel and cure 60 seconds.

In testing 99% of people had zero heat spike, there is always the occasional person that may feel minimal heat.
