The CNS Pro Cure Lamp was developed with one goal in mind — giving professional nail technicians a curing system they can feel confident using.
Not all nail lamps perform the same. Proper curing depends on the relationship between formula chemistry, wavelength output, irradiance, and exposure time. Because of this, the CNS Pro Cure Lamp was developed alongside CNS gel systems, with formula compatibility and recommended curing parameters considered during product development.
Designed for daily salon use, this cordless rechargeable lamp features 42 professionally selected UV-A LEDs, advanced quartz-backed LED technology to help manage heat buildup during repeated use, a mirrored interior curing chamber designed to optimize internal light reflection, motion sensor activation, a removable base for pedicure services, an integrated carry handle, and an HD LCD display showing both timer settings and battery life.
CNS gel polish formulas have undergone internal formula-specific cure testing using the CNS Pro Cure Lamp to verify compatibility when used according to recommended cure guidelines.
Because proper curing depends on both formula chemistry and lamp compatibility, always follow the cure instructions listed on individual CNS product labels.
Why We Recommend the CNS Pro Cure Lamp
A curing lamp should not be selected based on wattage alone, or how it looks. Multiple lamps can look the same while performing completely different.
CNS products are developed with formula-specific cure guidelines, and the CNS Pro Cure Lamp was developed with those curing requirements in mind.
For best results, always follow the cure time listed on the individual CNS product label.

Battery Care & Lamp Longevity
The CNS Pro Cure Lamp uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery designed for cordless salon use and reliable day-to-day performance.
To help maximize battery life and maintain long-term performance:
• Fully charge before first use
• Recharge once the battery reaches one bar
• Unplug once charging is complete
• Avoid leaving the lamp plugged in continuously
• Use only the included charging cord
• Avoid drops or impact damage
Like all rechargeable devices, battery performance naturally declines over time. Proper charging habits help preserve battery health and maintain reliable day-to-day performance.
Over time, normal component wear can also affect overall lamp performance. Replacing aging equipment periodically helps maintain consistent operation behind the table.
What Our Current Lamp Data Shows
Current compatibility and performance data for the CNS Pro Cure Lamp indicates:
• Dual-wavelength UV-A LED design using 365nm and 405nm LED technology
• 42 professionally selected UV-A LEDs
• Approximate average chamber irradiance: 14 mW/cm²
• Approximate peak chamber irradiance: 17 mW/cm²
• Quartz-backed LED construction designed to help manage heat buildup during repeated use
• 60-second cure compatibility internally verified for CNS gel polish when used according to recommended cure guidelines
These values describe the CNS Pro Cure Lamp as a curing system developed for compatibility with CNS gel systems.
They are not intended to suggest that one lamp will properly cure every gel formula on the market. Different gel systems may require different wavelengths, irradiance, exposure times, or other curing parameters.
Lamp compatibility should never be assumed across brands.
Wattage Alone Does Not Tell the Full Story
The wattage printed on a lamp does not, by itself, determine whether a gel product will cure properly.
Actual curing performance depends on what the lamp is delivering inside the curing chamber and whether that output is appropriate for the chemistry of the product being cured.
This is why CNS evaluates wavelength, irradiance, exposure time, and formula compatibility rather than relying on advertised wattage alone.
Formula Chemistry Matters Too
Curing is not simply about the lamp. The chemistry inside the gel determines the wavelengths and energy levels required for proper polymerization.
Our current gel polish formulas were developed around photoinitiator chemistry intended to respond within the UV-A range used by the CNS Pro Cure Lamp.
Current compatibility testing indicates a target curing window within the 365nm to 405nm range and a minimum energy requirement of approximately 600 mJ/cm² when used according to our recommended cure parameters.
Based on the CNS Pro Cure Lamp's currently measured average chamber irradiance of approximately 14 mW/cm², a 60-second exposure corresponds to an approximate delivered dose of 840 mJ/cm² under comparable measurement conditions.
This is why cure time matters.
A lamp's wavelength specifications or advertised wattage alone cannot determine whether a gel will cure properly. The lamp output, exposure time, and formula chemistry must work together.
This should not be interpreted as a universal claim that the CNS Pro Cure Lamp will properly cure every gel formula from every brand. Different gel systems may require different curing parameters.
The CNS Pro Cure Lamp and CNS gel systems were developed with compatibility in mind rather than relying on generic lamp assumptions.
